The Human Rights Centre Clinic at the University of Essex and Minority Rights Group International have collaborated on a recently published report on anti-discrimination laws in the Middle East and North Africa. The report examines the impact of anti-discrimination laws on minorities and indigenous peoples in Egypt, Iran, Türkiye, and Tunisia.

The report is based on desk research and a legal review of existing anti-discrimination legislation and policies in the four countries. It also includes 14 interviews with experts and representatives of minority and indigenous communities. Where possible, an intersectional approach was used.

The report can be accessed on the website of Minority Rights Group.
